Does anybody know how to change a WMF file to a BMP file?

Or use Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com) freeware to open *.wmf and "file > save as" any format you want *.bmp, *.jpeg etc etc etc.

Thanks Mosaic - I don't check out the 98 forum much these days, not enough hours in the day.

For the size of the app (even with all the plug-ins) and the sheer fact that it leaves the registry the hell alone, it is the only viewer I'd never be without.
It is the first "non-System" application I install.

Yep - I was intrigued by the enthusiasm for Irfanview on this very board, so had to try it - it's comprehensive facilities are just about the best there is, and as you say, it doesn't grab all your available RAM or consume loads of HD space.

I wouldn't be paranoid if everyone wasn't out to get me...

I downloaded and installed irfanview. It solved my problem. This is one helluva program!

You can also just Copy the image then paste it to your Graphics program that can save BMP files.
