Scanning on Word 97

I have just transferred all my programmes to a new computer (now running Windows 98). MSWord97 (Winword) doesn't recognise that I have a scanner - it used to recognise this on the old machine, and all the other programmes - eg MSPublisher recognise it.

How can I register (or whatever I have to do) the scanner with Winword so that it will recognise it?

It sounds like you need to download new drivers. Ran into a similar problem with an old scanner and upgrade to Windows 98. Hope this works!
