A good virtual pen pal of mine has access to a computer only at a cyber cafe... She really would like to build her own website, but she can't "save" anything she attempts to design. I've got 2 computers with plenty of storage, & wonder if she can utilize one of them for her website designing???

Hi there Bperham,
I don't know how someone in China would be able to use your computer per se, but there is a way round it. You could register with an online storage site. These sites give you storage space to let you save any kind of data you have, such as mp3's, documents, folders, etc.
This is very good for people who have little harddisk space OR if, lets say, you have a whole load of mp3's and a few word documents in your storage space site and your pen pal in China would like to download them: All you have to do is give your friend the storage site password and he/she can 'let themselves in'! Alternatively, your Chinese pen pal could register and save her web site data in there! Then he/she could give you the password and then you'll be able to see what's in there!
Here are some free storage site:
My Space (http://www.myspace.com) Gives 300mb of space after you complete a short survey!
NetDrive (http://www.netdrive.com)
FreeDrive (http://www.freedrive.com)
I hope you get my drift with this mate and I hope it will be useful to you. If you have any comments or queries just post back! http://discussions.virtualdr.com/biggrin.gif
