I've downloaded some asf files but didn't get the whole thing. I can't seem to view them unless they are complete. Does anyone know any way around this?

Thats kind of weird. ASF files in my experience will play even if they are incomplete. Make sure you have all the latest codecs. For example, the DIVX codec is often needed to view newer files. Cheers.
