I can´t use dos FDISK after "fdisking" with the FDISK that come with SUSE LINUX.
(or maybe after trying Windows 2000 - i´m not sure).

When I try to use dos FDISK I only get a blinking "-". http://discussions.virtualdr.com/frown.gif

Yep, I know exactly what you mean. I ran into the same thing when I played around with Red Hat Linux a while back. As you discovered, FDISK knows nothing of Linux. What I finally ended up doing was booting from the Red Hat CD. There was a tool on the CD called "Disk Druid" that I used to delete the Linux partitions. Once done, I could then put FDISK back to work. I don't know if SUSE has the same disk tool in it, or not...

But I dont want to delete the Linux partitiones!!!!

Looks like I misunderstood. Since what you described appeared to be the same situation that I had when I definitely *DID* want to delete the Linux partitions, I guess I just read that into your statement... but, if FDISK doesn't work now alongside Linux, I don't have an answer for you... Sorry!
