DOS 6.22 install

I have tried to install DOS from a version of DOS that i downloaded from the internet. I start the installation process it says to " put in Disk #1 and press CTRL-ALT-DEL" i do it and then it says INVALID SYSTEM DISK OR DISK ERROR. How can i fix this! There is a total of 3 disks not a setup disk. if you need any more information ask me!

What version?
enter BIOS setup
at start hold down up F1 or del or watch screen for instructions.
In standard setup set boot to A:/C:
one of the disks should have system files and boot you to A:\> if not goto bootdisk.com
download proper boot version.

The 3 files that you downloaded from the internet can't just be copied to floppy. You have to decompressed them and then go thru a setup to create you 3 install disks. If you would tell us what are these 3 files and where you took them, we could tell you how to set your installation floppies properly.
