you may need a bootdisk
either your bios is not correct
or your harddrive is not bootable...

how did it get like this ?

if your bios was reset
you will need to find the parameters of your hard drive
in bios...will be a list of your hard drives
it should be set to auto...
or to user
and then the cylinders/heads/sectors size info

should be something like 786 / 16 / 62 or whatever....
look for a harddrive autodetect feature in your bios
if the size of your hard drive in bios looks correct...then it is a software problem
