The modem works perfectly well in W98 on Comm2-IRQ3.In DOS pogram have settings to Comm2-IRQ3, and have comfirmed that the Init String is correct from 2 sources. Error received is;

Modem will not initialize

Modem is HSP Micromodem 56K....Help!

If this modem is considered a "Win Modem" DOS will not be able to use it.

Try and get the windows version of the program you want to use.
