i have tried fdisk from floppy and win95 cd

format c:

c http://www.virtualdr.com/forums/biggrin.gifir
any contact with the c drive brings the error
please help me

Hi,

First of all enter CMOS setup and look if your hard drive properly installed here. Perform HDD Autodetection and select LBA option if available. Then reboot, run FDISK /MBR, and then run FDISK remove all existing partitions and create the new one. Make it active. Reboot and do FORMAT C: /S to format your HDD and tranfer system files onto it.
