Cannot Mount SCSI Removable

I am trying to mount a Syquest 270 MB Cartridge to a NOMAI 540 removable drive on my MAC OS version S8.1 via scsi prove 5.0 but the system will not mount. Via SCSI prove 5.0 I can see that theres no ID conflict and I can actually see the removable, but when I tried to mount it - nothing happens...

I am not sure which of the drives will not mount, or if your system boots fine except for this failure to mount, but assuming a few things, I can recommend one thing if it is indeed just the SyQuest you need to mount:

Make sure you have the drive powered and the cart. in and then restart. If this won't mount the drive, try getting "SilverLining Lite" the control panel/driver that comes with each SyQuest cart and drive. It should have the ability to mount the SyQuest, while Drive Setup or SCSI Probe probably don't.
