Action: At boot held down Opt+Com+P+R. Held for approximately. 4 very fast restarts (screen had slight emissions of light, then turned off each time)
Result: Unable to boot under any condition,ie; CD(com+C w/bootable apple sys disk) no flp disk boot, no external HD booting with valid system.

Note: Can confirm that SCSI bus is active & probing (via LEDs on active Terminator). Drives reach spin rate(internal & or external w/system 8.1 or 8.5.1) Monitor seems to locate a sync (green light) for 20 seconds then drops off to amber (no more sync to be found after color change) At present (6/6/99) unable to boot CPU. Please advise as to next action to solve challenge.

HELP...I'm sinking FAST...

To boot from the CD, don't hold down the Command key at all--just the "C" key.

If that workd, try disk repair and desktop rebuild.
