Mac-Pc Networking

Can anyone give me any info on networking a mac and a pc, using serial connections, without adding any additional software to the MAC? It is an old Mac Plus w/4mb Ram. I want to transfer files from my PC but it only has an 800k floppy drive!

You can format pc floppies as 720 and the plus might be able to see them...also you might email them to yourself (from a friend) and pick up mail on the mac when they should be there OR use your page at geocities as a
'holding tank': upload from pc, download with mac.
