There is no built-in programming language on the Macintosh. Let me clarify. There is no built-in compiler or high-level translator on the Macintosh. To make your own program you would need to purchase a program called a "compiler". A compiler program will allow you to make your own programs on the Macintosh. Programming is a very involved topic but I would not hesitate to encourage anyone to give it a try. If you have limited or no programming experience I highly suggest a book called "Learning C on the Macintosh". It is written by Dave Mark. It is very available and it is really the finest book on the subject. And it also includes the software necassary to begin.
