new computer and old harddrive no administrator

We want to swap a computer (pentium 90 to pentium II 333) but put in old hard drive in our network. I have done it once but I can't update the video card settings and the network card isn't recognized.

Any work arounds?

You must download drivers for the new hardware and install them. You'll find them at the manufacturers website.

I can't get into the control panel to change anything. I think I need an administrator to open up??
