Hi there, I hope you can help me with this one:

I've recently installed Symantec's Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition v7.5. All appears to be OK, but when you open the Console (which uses MMC), the system will stop responding.

You then have to open Task Manager to force MMC.EXE to shutdown, but you can't get the program back up again without first rebooting the server.

MS TechNet says MMC will stop responding if you have less than 2MB of space remaining on the partition where WINNT is located (we have approx 100MB).

Has anyone else experienced this?

We currently have SP5 on the server.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Install SP6a. Seems to solve many problems.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't have enough space on the C: drive to install 6a, at present we are down to approx 100MB - even after uninstalling all unrequired and old apps.

If we can clear up space I'm reluctant to install 6a on the BDC as this also acts as our email server running Notes 5.

Will that work OK still? One on 6a the other on 5?

Cheers
