NT Maintenance.

Please any body tell me about maintenance of Windows NT (Server or WS). e.g.
1.Removing Unnecessary files.
2.stop Unnecessary services.
3.Unnecessary protocols.
etc

How many w/s in network?
1.if it less then 10 you can use NetBuei for file/print sharing
If you more than 10 w/s or running some apps like SQL etc, use TCP/IP Only, install WINS on the server as well.
2. Don't remove any files it will not improve
performance unless you are running out of space on harddrive, If you don't need some apps ,uninstall it from add/remove in CP.
3.re: Services it is hard to say what services are unnecessary...
can you explain more what you are running and why?
