External Yamaha CRW8824SX CD Writer. The cd writer is 2nd on the scsi chain. If I boot into Windows NT 4 with the cd writer switched on, I have about 10-20 mins before the machine blue screens. However, if I leave the writer switched off, the machine works fine. I have changed the scsi id's of the two connected scanners, and the cd writer. Also checked for terminator switches - the last one is switched 'on'. I have reinstalled the driver numerous times for the cd writer (checked web site - no firmware updates as of yet), and reapplied service pack 3 for NT.
