Internet Problems with NT Server

I have an ISDN connection to the internet using a Pocket Multicom router. The problem is I cannot find my Internet IP address from the server.

I have tried using ipconfig /all but it only returns local network information. I think the problem may be that the router is not connected to the server directly as the server has only one network card which is connected to a hub.

The router is also connected to the same hub. I'm not sure if the router has to be directly connected or not but I'm having the following problems:

I cannot remotely access the server. When I try a tracert on the domain name I get an unreachable error. I am also trying to set up a trust relationship with another domain but as yet I am not sure how to do this and I think I might have a problem if I cannot reach the server.

It has been suggested that I need to set up the route table on the router but I am not sure how to do that either.

Despite these problems our entire network has internet and email access through the server which has the gateway set to 192.168.55.3 which is the IP address of the router.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because as you can see I'm a bit confused.

You can check the external IP address assigned by the ISP (which may not be static) by visiting the site below using a browser:
http://stevemiller.net/you.html

It will not be accurate if your ISP uses a proxy server.
