hi,
i have two PC's connected together using a LinkSYS 10/100 Networking kit. PC1 is running NT4 and PC2 is running Win98.
i believe the problem is with PC1, because when NT loads it gives me an error window which says"
"At least one service or driver failed druing system startup. Use event viewer to examine the event log for details."
s so i checked the event viewer and clicked on the service/driver that failed. And this was the description:
"The Linksys LNE100TX Adapter Driver service failed to start due to the following error:
A device attached to the system is not functioning. "
Now.. how do i find out which device is not working???
Well i've just installed a SCSI adaptor and a Yamaha CD-RW. Which is working fine now .. thanx to u guys.
At first i thought it was one of those that might be giving me a problem.. so i've re-installed SP5, which didn't do anything.
please help.
