I have Exchange server and outlook 98
only on one computer is it possible to
send mail to myself without being networked
I am just playing around to get some practice
I tried it without success
maybe its not configured correctly

where would I check for lience anyway
I just wanted to know if it had to networked

I can do this with Microsoft postoffice

Can we assume that you did create a mailbox
for yourself...(if not, create a new account)
Also you need to have the Exchange Services running..(check Server Manager to see if they are running)
Finally, find yourself a GOOD MS Exchange
book that includes installation, as well as Administration.
