The workstation service hung on starting.

I'm getting the error "The workstation service hung on starting" in the Event Viewer when I boot my WinNT server.

After going through manuals and the MS Knowledge Database, I still haven't found out how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

1.try reconfiguring your net card.
2. see if there are any dependant services which have not started.
3. Check out if someone is trying to meddle with ur server, any one telnetting at the wrong port can cause these problems
