I'm installing NT for the first time. I did the floppyless install on my 401MB partition, the other one is 681MB. I heard that NT will format the HDD by itelf. Is it true?
But I tried to format it on my own anyway. I tried everything.
After I go into E (CD-ROM Drive),I go into I386 Directory and then I type Lock (otherwise it will ask me to do it and reboots it all over). Then it loads all the files (first stage of installing), and asks me to press Enter to reboot, because it will start the second level of installing. Shortly after the Fatal error <0x4, 0, 0, 0> shows up and setup can't continue.

I'm not sure what am I doing wrong. I'm
open for suggestions.

Just a few questions before I make any suggestions; What type of processor, how much ram, Hard disk( I assume 1Gb). Do you have a clean system now? (not trying to dual boot with win98 or linux). If yes then sometimes pays to boot from the CD. If you can supply the above and what ever details you can the I wil see if I can help.
