I have cloned a workstation and changed the network name to the name it was named before, but when I am trying to login to our domain it says "Primary DNS not found or password missing" or something like that.
Have I forgotten to do something else, I also reinstalled the network card because it was another manufacturer on the workstation I cloned it from?

You may have a problem with a duplicate SID. Each computer is supposed to have a unique SID. Cloning tools such as ghost normally have utilities to change the System Identifier.

Thanks, I have converted the SID-file, but it doesnīt work anyway, maybe I have got to remove the computer from the domain and add it again, but I donīt know exactly how to do?
Or maybe I should have converted the SID file before starting NT on the cloned machine for the first time?

Have you set up a computer account on the Primary Domain Controller?
As with user and group accounts, both Windows NT Workstation and Windows NT Server require an account on the domain.
Is the NetBios Name unique?

There is an old account existing already, I read something about "Broken Implicit Trusts" when cloning but I am not really sure.
I will look into the Netbios name, but how can I see which ones "are spoken for"???
Thanks!!
