Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Can I View FAT NT Partitions?

I have installed NT with 3 partitions. All are FAT. DOS is installed on my boot partition. If they are all FAT why can't I see the NT partitions when I boot DOS? I can only see the DOS C: and when I go into fdisk all I show is extended partitions on the NT side. WHY? Is there a tool available that will let me see my NT "drives"?

FAT can only see up to 2Gb partitions - NT can format up to 4Gb FAT so DOS wouldn't be able to see it. Is that your problem?

I don't think that could be all of my problem. My Partitions are as follows
c: = 1506
d: = 1506
e: = 4096
I still can't "see" d: when I boot DOS?

Is D: in an extended partition or a primary partition? What can you see from within NT? Try using Start | Programs | Administrative Tools | Disk Administrator and see how the partitions are described.
