Thanks rrizzi7210 September 7th, 1999, 01:54 AM In a nutshell.... If you are running FAT32, use Partition Magic 4.0 to switch back to FAT16, and install NT4 as dual boot leaving FAT16 in place (don't convert to NTFS). If you are running FAT16, just install NT4 as dual boot leaving existing FAT16 in tact. I recommend this scenario because you can switch back and forth between O/Ss. Just watch common folder names between each O/S (i.e. Program Files, Temp directory, etc.) After you get everything you need working under NT, kill Win98 if you don't need it for anything, and convert to NTFS. Make sure you have NT drivers FIRST for everything in the machine. Also, watch for PNP issues between Win98 and NT, since NT doesn't support PNP, yet. ------------------ MCSE virtualdr.com
