In the IE 7 tools/Internet options/programs is the area for 'setting' up the sending of email from within an Internet web site.. I.E. you come across a web site that displays an email address, you click, you fill out, you send......
and hours later ( or even days) you open up your Outlook email program and there is your email you composed sitting in the Outbox,, just waiting to be sent. You click send and receive and boom it's gone.

BUT Outlook Express being setup in this area, I have NEVER had a problem with this email just sitting there waiting to be sent, it always goes.
So I Prefer to have OE express set as the default email program., but then the problem arises of which log in member refers which email program. My wife prefers Outlook and if she sends off emails thru the express program from those Internet pages-- the email sent- is sitting in her outlook express sent box and she has no history (via Outlook 2002) of that email sent., where I prefer OE as my emails always get sent and never sit in the outbox waiting box ..

What to do what to fix what is the remedy ?????

The setting in Internet Explorer (actually a Control Panel setting) is used to specify a default e-mail program to use when an e-mail address link is clicked on. There are a variety of possible causes for Outlook e-mail not being sent. You need to make sure that Outlook is set to send the mail automatically instead of requiring someone to click on the Send/Receive button. Outlook also needs to be running for the Send to happen. And, if you have Norton or some other antivirus software that checks outgoing e-mail, that may be causing a problem. Some possibly useful links are below:
