usb driver problem

I have recently been given a motorola v3i mobile the tools cd with it is not compatible with 98se my operating system hence I cannot locate a driver for this device.Itried an earlier tools cd which is compatible but it cannot locate a driver for the new phone.Is there any software that I can download to match my phone to my system? My earlier phone was accessible thru a usb connection in conjunction with the appropriate tools cd.:confused:

Any USB driver to be had would have to come from the maker of the device to run on Win 98. Because MS pulled the plug on support for Win 98 a few months ago, USB devices coming on the market since then are usually not supported either. For the most part USB devices new in this year are not going to work with Win 98 as the OS is now considered obsolete.
