Diablo 2 resolution problems

When I play Diablo 2 on my Dell Latitude, the game always reverts to 1/2 screen mode for some reason, it will never completely fill the screen and I'm not sure why that is. I have nVidia Geforce4 440 Go for a vid card and I use DX 9... does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you patched the game to the latest from blizard.
You will need to create a free account.

In your settings do you have windowed mode set, change to full screen.
