Hi All,

I am not much of a gamer, but if I find a game I like I play it for ages (until I beat the hardest settings and most people online :D ).

Such was the case with AOEII - The Conquerors.

I just learned abotu AoEIII and was wondering what your stance (who have played both) is on it before I shed out some $50.- bucks even before the expansion pack.

Gladly see your poll results and some detailled feedback.

Thanks
KGG

I'd say better, for the simple fact that it uses a new physics engine (Havok) and you have a larger range of resources/people and a hom city which you can earn shipments of resources from, the graphics have been upped too, and it is still as addictive as AOE II.

I'm sort off making my way through CoD2, WoW, Dark Messiah and Company of Heroes.

I've decided not to buy anymore games until I have completed one of those games, WoW not included.

I was thinking of getting AOE III, but thought I'd wait.

How you liking the subscription for WOW? :D

I didn't see one of my friends for months because he was working his way to level 60, and now that the burning crusade has been released and he had it on pre-order for months i won't be seeing him around for a while yet again as you can get to level 70 in the expansion, but it takes just as long as it did in the main game when going from 1-60. ...i've heard it's addictive, but i've never played it....COD2 is another story, i love it, i just keep completing it over and over.:D

I'm still on my free month on WoW, only got it this week. I am only on Lvl 5 but I'm still finding my way around, there is so much you can do. I can see why it can get addictive. 3hrs went so fast yesterday :D

I only got CoD2 yesterday so I've not really played with it much, completed the first 2 missions, then went to the cinema :D

So far so good.

to bring this back heres my though:
AOE III went too far off its roots, and also, I prefer seeing big "beefy" units run around the battlefield not some small ants...
