Hey guys,
I have Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition installed.
Every time I disable File System Realtime Protection, it automatically re-enables itself in an hour or so.
Anyone know how to keep this feature disabled until I manually enable it?
Thanks

johnny 2--Did you look in your NAV CE Manual?
In the one I have access to, it says
"To turn off File System Realtime Protection temporarily:
On the taskbar in the lower-right corner of your Windows Desktop,right-click the Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition icon, then click touncheck Enable File System Realtime Protection. To turn on File System Realtime Protection.
On the taskbar in the lower-right corner of your Windows Desktop,right-click the Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition icon, then click tocheck Enable File System Realtime Protection.
In some configurations, the Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition icon is not displayed on the taskbar in the lower-right corner of your Windows Desktop. In this case, open Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition (see“Opening Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition” on page 16), click Configure in the left pane, click File System Realtime Protection in the right pane, and check or uncheck Enable File System Realtime Protection."
Is this what you are doing?
Note the word "temporarily". Maybe it is supposed to turn itself back on.
The manual also says
"To change File System Realtime Protection settings:
1 Open Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition.
2 In the left pane, click Configure.
3 In the right pane, click File System RealTime Protection."
I do not know if that will help you.
