I finally got my hand on the ISO, and now i get this from autorunning the DVD:

And if i try and boot from the DVD it simply doesn't. :(

The Newsgroup site is having problems, and i can't post, and i've checked there and all of the recommendations from the "Pro's" don't help.

Anyone run into this? any tips?

liam858--Did you try Google?

Yep Ridge,, i guessed it could be corrupt, and 3gb isn't pretty to download multiple times, but i'm getting it again now just to be sure.

Thanks Jim, i tried Google, and all of the links, and i've tried all of the suggestions, i also managed to post on the Vista Newsgroup but all i seem to be getting in replies is "I have the same problem". :(

No worries guys, it was the way the download manager was getting the ISO that was the problem, when i got the file the old fashioned way (4 hours later) i was all set, and after another couple of stumbling blocks it's alive. :)

Thanks for the help anyway, it seems the error is caused by using a download manager.(Third party ones anyway).

liam858--Glad to hear the solution and that all is well. Thanks for posting back.
I have never been a fan of download managers, but others swear by them.
