I recently bought a router seen here. http://www.trendnet.com/products/TW100-S4W1CA_ver.htm
I have my machine connected to the router with a straightthrough cable that works great. The light comes on on the router that shows my machine is there, I am given an IP by its DHCP. I can ping the device, get a response, and see the light blinking on the router. This router is not connected to the internet, it is just me and the router. I am using dialup.
The problem is that I am trying to access the GUI through a browser (tried both ie and ff) and I can not. I see the light blink on my router when I type in its IP and press enter, but it takes me to a search page. I also downloaded the little client gui they have on the site, and it can not see the router either, but I can still ping it from a command prompt.
What can I do?
