Problem in viewing videos

I have windows xp home edition service pack 2 and windows media player 10 series, the problem is that i cant view the videos on the website which support windows media player, when i click on the link it shows the screen of the video, its says connecting to media and it stops. It happens in every website for example www.nba.com, i cant view any video. Can anyone help me please what to do :confused: if you guys need more information, please feel free to ask, i'm gonna check this post often.

You might try clicking on it again a second time when it stops. If you get another screen that you can open and watch it means that the Win Media app is corrupt. A reboot can clear it or you can try reinstalling.
