Microsoft are offering a trip to the Vista launch, with flights and 3 night stay on a 4-star hotel, as a first prize for anyone who can guess when the Vista launch is, whoever is the closest wins, they have set a estimate at December 1st this year.

What they didn't tell you:

1st Prize: Be live at the Vista launch event in the USA: a full package with entry, flight, and 3 nights in a 4-star hotel. The flight is on a UPS freight plane and the name of the hotel is "4-Star"...during nighttime hours it doubles as a halfway house for homeless cockroaches.

2nd–4th. Prize: New XBOX 360 Please ignore the broken seal on the box...and the Coca-Cola stains on the console....and the frayed power cord...it's "new"....trust us...

5th–10th Prize: XBOX Core System Product Description: "The Xbox 360 Core System delivers the same powerful gaming as Xbox 360, but starts with the basics and lets you expand at your own pace." Which, of course, is a prize that we willingly give you because we know you are gonna want to spend more money on the accessories. We win!!


My prediction: They'll launch it a few days before 1 December...just to make it look like they are ahead of the game. :) Watch the Microsoft numbers in the stock market for clues. :D

LOL Bistro :D i wanna come either 2nd or 10th and sell the console on Ebay, some people would give their arm for one, and i'm waiting for the PS3, so it's a win, win situation.;)

Looks like the 2nd to the 10th prizes are far more valuable than the 1st prize. :D
