After watching FF VII Advent Children I wanted to play the good ole FF VII once again. No problem in '97 with my Pentium I 133 and Elsa Victory Erazor card. But it isn't as easy with my Athlon 2600 and Geforce 4 card. I simply get bad graphics. Is there a way to change the graphic settings of my videocard as to make FF VII playable again on more recent computers?

If you're running XP, you can simply try something like "run as" which you can use to run any game or software, as though you're using another os. Right click the game's icon in program files, then chose properties, then Compatibility tab. Check the box that says Run this program in compatibility mode, using the drop down arrow, chose win98 to win95. See if that works better for you.

Hey
I forgot the exact website, but there is an XP patch out there for FFVII. It helped me out a lot with my AMD 3400+ & FX5500. The patch is free for download.

I think I found it on Yahoo search by typing in "FFVII Patch" if anyone's still interested.
