My wife wants to video chat with her sister. After installing the webcam and MSN they can see each other but my wife cannot hear her sister, but her sister can hear her. My wife is using Windows 98se-her sister Windows XP. I'm uncertain which audio port the speaker jack plugs into or even if it would make a difference. On the back of the case there's the three port array(line in, line out, mic in) which, port-line in or line-out, do I plug the speaker jack into? Thanks.

If they're colour-coded, it's the green one.

Thanks for the replies. I'm begining to think the problem is on the other end, everything seems to be working correctly on this end. The ball now is in my brother-in-laws court. HeHe. :)

Download trillian. I had the same exact problem. I'm on XP, other party on 98, I can hear them, they can't hear me. Trillian solved it.
