Splinters in Screen

I have been having problems with my screen when I play the SIMS 2. To the best of my ability to describe the problem, "splinters of color" form triangles all over the screen and will not disappear despite my many attempts. I have reinstalled the software to no solution. These "splinters" also appear in my screensavers. Please post any ideas.

Sound like it could be a graphics problem, can you post your system specs, including monitor type/size.

definatlty sounds like a graphics card/ driver problem
if you could post some more info about your pc that will help alot
good software to tell you all about whats inside your pc
