Alright. I've spent the past day or two trying to get the Battlefield 2 Demo to work now that I've finally got a computer that can run the thing.
I'm now running on 768 MB of ram, a plenty good processor, and a RADEON 9000 PRO. Not the greatest thing to run it, but plenty.
Anyway, when I start the demo, it goes past all the 'EA' intro stuff...but when it gets to the main menu, the background comes up as random nonsense. Pink static-looking, grey, anything. I can hear the menu music, and -sometimes- I can click a button to quit or whatever.
Pretty soon after I get to the main menu, it quits out and Catalyst comes up saying it has reset my graphics drivers and that it wants to send an error report to ATi.
Any clues as to what could be causing this and what I should do?
