HP PHOTO & IMAGING GLITCH

I have been using HP Photo for a couple of years now. Suddenly, I cannot use the annotate feature. When I highlight, do a sticky note, etc., everything looks good but disappears as soon as I click the "save" button. I have removed my printers and reinstalled again and still have the problem. I also tried system restore a couple of times before uninstall and reinstall, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help?
