Smart Shutdown from Slawdog E-Solutions
Smart Shutdown is a nifty little program that gives plenty of shutdown options. You can shut down, restart or lock your computer, and more. You can put any of the options on a timer. You can also set a specific time for Smart Shutdown to kick in. You can even create and set customized reminders. One of Smart Shutdown’s best tricks is a one-click shutdown.
The main feature, Smart Shutdown, shuts off your computer after a period of inactivity. But it could use a little tweaking. It judges inactivity only by your mouse. That means it will try to shut down if you’re only typing. Fortunately, you can shut down this Smart Shutdown feature.
Requirements: Windows 95 or newer
Cost: Free
