need a vcd splitter.

Help!
I desparately need a software( a free one!) to split video files especially .dat .
I tried too manytimes download some but every time I failed because the softwares were unable to open .dat files or had a watermark output or the result was unsync (audio and video) [in case of windows movie maker].
pls help me find one.

Do a Google search for "File Splitter". These will cut a file into multiple pieces so you can fit them on several disks. You will have to reassemble the pieces, most likely, before you can use them. Some, like MP3's can be played while split.

If you are looking to play each as a separate VCD, you will have to use a video editor program and make two (or more) seperate files.
