I'm getting ready to buy a wireless router for my house. I know there are many brands but don't know if one is any better than another. There are many brands I've never even heard of. I looked here - Wireless routers at newegg.com (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProduct.asp?submit=list&catalog=145&DEPA=5&order=price&sort=asc) - and the first bunch are from manufacturers I've never heard of. Is one antenna not as good as having two antennas? Which manufacturers are good and which aren't? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Me, I like my Netgear WGT624 wired/wireless model. It was pretty easy to set up; furthermore, it supports adapters on the other computers that may have slower chips or Windows 98SE instead of XP (I couldn't speak to WinME or 95, but you could check). I bought two USB adapters for the other computers. And voila!

Im running three pc's on a home network setup, using a Belkin wireless router dual antenna's. Main pc using an ethernet wire to router, other two pc's using Belkin wireless external cards. All pc's very fast download speeds & Internet. Going on two years now with this setup & has worked flawlessly. BJ
