Here is my problem.

Using Blekin start up cd it will get to the point of restarting my comp and will fail to connect to the router.

try manually setting it up but no lucky
router ip 192.168.2.1 worksd one time but no longer works

I have static ip and dns.
i have dslextreme as isp.

edit:forgot to mention i have windows xp

I think it is something to do with the router. Have you contacted Belkin Technical Support?

no was hopping i was making some stupid mistake but everythng seems to be okay, going to contact them monday

talk to tech support for about 25 min or so and no luck everything that was tried was no go. At the end he blamed ie for being the problem :( Guess time to get different brand router.

got it to work don't ask how as i have no idea lol. I did hard reset of the rotuer held reset for about 30sec that seem to have gotten it to work :)
