Networking Password

Everytime I turn on my computer I get a prompt to type in my password . Its from Microsoft networking. How did I enable it and how do I disable this? I don't want to have to enter a password.

Have you recently installed broadband ?

I did just the other day and afterwards, my WinMe and Win98SE both started asking me for a password.

However changing the network option to be Windows Logon instead of Client For Microsoft Windows worked for me as per ecross' link worked for me without having to do all the other stuff they spoke of.
