can someone tell me a good online radio player i always used spinner but really dont like it since netscape took it over.also i would like for it not to force me to use realplayer

frebo--My limited experience is that the radio station often will tell you what player(s) it requires for you to listen and you may not have much choice. Sometimes it is a proprietary player. The home page of the radio station will provide this info and often offer a download. (But I have never tried to insist on using my choice--like Windows Media Player--if that is not suggested.)

As far as Real Player is concerned, the BBC claims to offer a spyware- and cookie-free version here

You may need to allow ActiveX controls to run to download and to use the BBC music streaming.

Winamp is what I use for Internet Radio, there are plenty of excellent stations to choose from.

Used to use spinner also and got rid of it for same reasons. I tried the new iTunes from Apple - works great and good selection of music - and new version 4.7 works on PC's and Mac's. You can google it or for downloads try here:
