How to make a VCD?

Okay. Ive been unsuccessful with Nero. Tried numerous amounts of times and it encodes the movie but fails to burn it! I have enuf disk space and all that, dunno whats wrong.

Ive read all those VCD websites..No help. Just need someone to give me something "easy-to-use" whether its tips with Nero, or another "easy" program.

Hi.. have you had a look at this page? there are two tutorials there for authoring VCD's.. one using tmpgenc, an often recommended program around here...

When you say fails to burn it, do you mean it doesn't even try, fails during the burn or burns but won't play.

If found that when i was trying to burn at anything above 4x my VCDs wouldn't play.

Nix, yes right after it encodes the movie it pops up an error so it never begins burning....It might be possible to change the speed like you said...I suppose Ill give it a shot..
