Hi

I am seeking for a software that can analyze the several apps that are using my internet bandwith (currently, dial-up).

Most of the web monitoring tools discloses the KB transferred and received, etc, but do not mention the apps and/or services ocupying bandwith and how much.

Can you help me, advising on this?

For example, I have dl a good app, called DU Meter, but then i figured out that does not tell me the apps using the bandwith.

Best regards,

Blankrice

Anyone on this?

I have read some posts on Virtualdr and some suggested NetStatic Live.

Tried this, but this app also do not indicates which apps are using my internet bandwith, just statistical info about my connection.

Any other suggestions??

Blankrice--You have not told us the version of Windows you are using.
But usually Control+Alt+Delete will show you what processes are running. Depending on your knowledge you can determine which of those processes which are involved with Internet activity (as opposed to being processes needed for operating your PC).
Combined with DUMeter, you can see the effect of End-Tasking each Internet-involved process.
But why are you worried about this? Is there really some other problem?

Don't know about any specific apps for checking out the bandwidth usage but Sygate Firewall's logs will do it. The main window shows what's running and how many bytes in and out each has used. (Also shows ports too...)
