I have Outlook Express 5 onmy computer and have just installed Outlok 2002.

I then went into add/remove programmes and did a remove for Outlook Express 5. However, although it no longer appears on the add/remove list, the programme is still on the computer (still workable).

How can I now get rid of it - I don't want both the old one and the newer one.

Howdy:

You can't.. OE is integrated into Internet Explorer..

Not only that, but OE has files that Outlook needs to run.. Dump OE and Outlook quits as well !!

Thank goodness I did not persevre and try to uninstal it manually!!

It pays to ask rather than guess!
