Hi,
Just been told I am the new IT person in the company, i have had a littel previous experience but a few years ago.
We have 9 users all running XP Pro and we are waiting the arrivial of a mid range IBM server.
It will have an internal DLT backup and RAID 5 3 disk array, sort of understanmd that bit.
Anyway our internet access and email is run through BT via pop accounts, we have a small BT router whcih plugs into a small hub. Internet access is always on as its broadband, everyone has outlook express.
I was wondering peopel thoughts on ms small business server is there alot of hassle setting the firewall and exchange up? and is it safe to run all this on one server? i am working in sales specifically and only sepdning a few hours a week on the IT side so its imperative that what ever i set up it will be maintenance free......
