How can I combine an .avi file with a .mp3 file?

I downloaded a movie, but the dub is a separated .mp3 file. Is it possible to combine them? Or can my divX player play the files if I simply copy them on a CD?

These are the files I got:

Wicked.City.[XVID]-Rusty.Monkey.avi
Wicked.City.[XVID]-Rusty.Monkey.srt
Wicked.City.English.Dub.mp3

You'll need VirtualDub (available here (http://www.virtualdub.org))

1. Open VirtualDub
2. File - 'Open Video File...'
3. Select the file 'Wicked.City.[XVID]-Rusty.Monkey.avi'
4. In the 'Video' menu, select 'Direct Stream Copy'
5. In the 'Audio' menu, make sure 'Direct Stream Copy' is also selected
6. Also in the 'Audio' menu, select 'WAV Audio...'
7. Select 'all files (*.*)' as file type
8. Select the file 'Wicked.City.English.Dub.mp3'
9. Go to File - 'Save as AVI...'
10. Enter a new filename (you can't overwrite the old one, it has to be a new filename)
11. OK, now wait for VirtualDub to have finished, and you should have a new dubbed videofile!

Or go and buy the DVD instead of d/l ,probably illegal, copies of movies. :D

Is it illegal to have a divx movie even if it isn't available in one's country? That's unfair because it would be impossible to see a lot of movies

Unfortunately, yes it is. Have you tried looking for it on ebay or other online sales sites?

It may seem unfair but we still have to follow our AUP which in part states...
